About me

Hello! Thanks for having a look.

About me
Atlas of Experience by Jean Klare and Louise van Swaaij

I work with purpose-driven organizations to show their impact. Apart from being a communications professional, I've also held programme and operations roles in the international development and humanitarian aid sector.

I've lived and worked in some truly amazing places and worked with some equally incredible people. From Beirut to Budapest and Durban to Dubai, I've also lived in Jakarta, Vientiane, Bangkok, Canberra, Kabul, and now Barcelona. Pure curiosity spurred me to do a nine-month solo trip traveling overland from India to Turkey via Nepal, Pakistan, and Iran. For the majority of my career, I've worked in the global south.

I hold a Masters in Public Policy, a two-year programme fully funded by a European Union scholarship (Central European University/Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals). I also have a Diploma in International Urban and Environmental Management (RMIT) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations (The University of Melbourne).
